OH HEY BISMARCKIA

I was in Senegal at the start of the month and believe me when I say you do not have to walk too far to see this plant. I noticed it at the entrance of many places in the capital city. Bismarckia is a plant grown in Madagascar and is part of the Arecaceae family. Most of the time they are in front of a public venues, such as these photos I captured outside the Grand National Theater of Dakar. I love how unapologetically wild this plant in particular is, you really cannot miss it, hence the title of the post. It's would demand a greeting if it could!
